My 4yr old Granddaughter wears the mask well. She prefers the pink (of course) doggy mask. She now has 3 masks of her own to wear just like the adults do. She will be going back to school in June (advanced) and will definitely need the protection of the mask as others will need the protections that her wearing her mask affords them. The 1 yr old is a different story but an expected story with a 1 year old.
